GAP Protection Plan

The GAP Protection Plan is a two party agreement between the customer and the lender to modify the prepayment provisions of your vehicle loan agreement in the event of a total loss of the vehicle collateral. The negative balance between your primary insurer and the balance owing on your loan will be taken care of by the GAP Protection Plan. This GAP is all too often a result of high depreciation of your vehicle in the first years of ownership and minimal down payment.

The lack of equity in the vehicle purchase and the event of extended vehicle term financing create a negative vehicle equity position. This results in consumers exposed, unknowingly, since they are generally focused on monthly payments. In most cases the borrower is exposed to thousands of dollars between the insured value of their vehicle and their outstanding loan balance in the event of a total loss. Without GAP Protection coverage the customer will need to cover the deficiency between the insured amount and the loan balance as well as a down payment on a new vehicle. A DOUBLE HIT!

Disability Insurance

Some injuries are more serious than others. Total Disability Insurance covers your debts for up to 84 months following an injury or sickness that prevents you from working.

• Total Disability Insurance is available to applicants between the ages 18 and 65.
• No health questions are required if the amount to finance is less than $100,000.
• Maximum monthly benefit is up to $4,000.

The road to recovery can be long, and sometimes recovery is not an option. By choosing Total Disability coverage, your monthly payments will be taken care of in your time of need.

Qualifying Age

Term of indebtedness for insurance purposes should not extend beyond the applicant's 66th birthday.

Eligibility Requirements

The debtor must be at least 18 years old, gainfully employed full-time and actively working at least 25 hours per week. No medical or health questions are required.

Benefit Amount

Upon becoming totally disabled and remaining disabled throughout the waiting period, the monthly loan or lease payment will be paid to the note holder. Residual or balloon payment is an option. Payments in arrears are not payable.

Maximum Benefit

Maximum monthly payment with respect to all insured indebtedness for any borrower or lessee will be $4,000.00 / month.

Benefit Waiting Period

Depending on the option chosen, benefits are payable after a 30 or 90 day waiting period.

Definition Of Disability

For the first 12 months, the insured's inability due to injury or illness to perform the regular duties of their occupation, after which the insured's ability due to injusry or illness to perform the regular duties of any occupation for which he is reasonably suited by education, training and/or experience.

Termination

Coverage and/or benefits terminate at the earliest of the loan/lease discharge date, the loan/lease maturity date and the insured attaining age 66.

Benefit Exclusions

Disability occurring within 12 months of the commencement of insurance where disability resulted from a pre-existing condition of health.
